View the application fees associated with requesting a CAQC review
There are two types of fees associated with CAQC’s reviews - application fees for applications from private institutions, and direct costs of reviews involving CAQC external review teams.
Once the Minister of Advanced Education has referred an application to CAQC, private institutions must submit an application fee as outlined on the Fee Schedule, and shown below. Institutions applying to offer degree programs will be charged the direct costs for some of the evaluation activities under CAQC, primarily the costs of external reviewer contracts.
Application Type For all applications from private institutions at all degree levels, excluding the Independent Academic Institutions listed in s. 5 of the Campus Alberta Sector Regulation (AR 239/2008), as may be amended. Applications may be charged an application fee for resubmission after a negative decision.
Direct Costs The additional direct costs for all evaluation activities with respect to applications from public and private institutions will be charged to the applicant institution. Evaluation activities include, but are not limited to, organizational and program evaluations.
