Action plans and annual reports follow best practice guidelines outlined in government’s  Public Agencies Governance Framework.

Action Plans

CAQC’s action plan identifies goals and priority initiatives to meet its two-fold mandate:

1. Provide advice and recommendations to the Minister with respect to new degree program proposals.
2. Monitor approved degree programs after their implementation.

Council’s goals and priorities are developed to emphasize its role as a support to degree-granting institutions – proactively working to help them build and maintain effective quality assurance processes and practices.
